Preschool 2 Teachers

 Kristy, RECE

kristyMy name is Kristy.  I am a graduate from Sheridan College in Early Childhood Education and I have been working at the centre since 2003.

I spent the first seven years working with the infants and am now approaching my tenth year of working with the Preschool age group.

I am a mother of two wonderful children, Jordan who will be a teenager this year and Ava who will be ten.

I really enjoy baking and cooking, gardening, and spending time out in nature with my husband and children.  I also love hockey and will be a forever Leafs fan.

In Preschool Two, I strive to give the children a variety of enriching experiences based on their interests.  I see enjoyment in their play, and am able to learn from them through their individual personalities and uniqueness.

Mila, RECE (no photo available)

My name is Mila. I am a registered ECE. I graduated as an ECE from Conestoga College, Kitchener, ON in April 2013.

I joined the Centre in August 2013 as a supply and then afternoon float in the Toddler Program.

I am currently a fulltime RECE in the Preschool Two program (formerly known as the Sunshine Room).

I have always been working with children of different age groups. I find it very interesting to teach young children based on their emerging interests.
