Preschool Teachers

 Rita, RECE

Rita

I graduated as an ECE from Conestoga College, Kitchener, in April 2014. I joined Campus Child Care Centre in August 2014 as a supply teacher and then as an afternoon TA in the Preschool program. I have been working as a full time teacher in Preschool 1 since 2015.

I am always excited to play with the children. Each of them have a unique way to see the world. Watching them do new things bring me immense joy. I enjoy interacting with them and learning from them. I am ready to help them learn based on their emerging interests.

My goal is to create a positive and welcoming environment by developing a responsive relationship with the children and their family; where children can express their imaginations and  explore the world around them with a friendly environment.

 My name is Christy Lai.

I graduated from Sheridan College in 2011. I worked in the Infant program since joining the CCCCG centre in 2012, and I currently work in the Preschool program.

Working with children always amuses me because they have so much potential and a great imagination. I enjoy playing and learning with them.

My goal is to provide a safe and inviting learning environment to children so that they feel comfortable to express themselves.

Alicia H.

Hello, my name is Alicia.

I graduated in 2015 from Wilfird Laurier University with an Honours Bachelors of Arts in Youth and Children Studies. I started working at the centre in February 2015 as the teaching assistant in the Preschool One room.

I enjoy working with children, and guiding them as they learn about themselves and the world around them. I strive to create a warm, and enriching environment where children can be themselves.

I am a mom of two amazing children, my youngest being two, and the oldest seven years old. Being a mom has not only made me a better person, but educator.
