Preschool Teachers

 Rita, RECE

Rita

I graduated as an ECE from Conestoga College, Kitchener, in April 2014. I joined Campus Child Care Centre in August 2014 as a supply teacher and then as an afternoon TA in the Preschool program. I have been working as a full time teacher in Preschool 1 since 2015.

I am always excited to play with the children. Each of them have a unique way to see the world. Watching them do new things bring me immense joy.  I enjoy interacting with them and learning from them. I am ready to help them learn based on their emerging interests.

My goal is to create a positive and welcoming environment by developing a responsive relationship with the children and their family; where children can express their imaginations and  explore the world around them with a friendly environment.

Dayani, RECE

Hello! I am Dayani.

I joined the CCCCG team in 2014 to explore if the ECE field fits me! Completing the ECE Fast Track Program at Conestoga College & graduating with distinction, I returned to CCCCG in 2015, while supplying at several other leading childcare centres in Guelph. I started regular hours in 2018.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to learn and grow with several age groups at the centre so far, thus opening the door for me to integrate my learning in early childhood education with the wealth of knowledge, skills and experience I have gained interacting with children, families and fellow educators since becoming a school teacher in 1997, serving the field of education in two other countries before Canada.

Children bring me immense joy. At the end of each day, I go home with a heart laden with their priceless gifts for me. I strive my best to bring them joy too, along with love, warmth, and learning.

"It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge." ~ Albert Einstein
