Board of Directors
The governing body of the Centre is a Board of Directors. The Board consists of up to 11 parent members elected by the parent body to represent and be accountable to the parents and the Centre. The Policies and Procedures Manual and By-Laws provides a detailed description of the role of the Board of Directors. Melissa Belzer | Chair |
Presides at all meetings and is responsible for the integrity of board process. Ensures proper functioning of the board and maintains group process. The position is non-voting unless there is a tie. |
Vice Chair |
Shadows the Chair Person in order to perform the duties of the Chair once the Chair steps down. The position is intended to facilitate board succession. |

Finance |
Monitors financial transactions and reports to the board on the financial position of the Centre. Leads the processes of financial planning, budget preparation, and cost/benefit analysis with regards to issues with financial implications including staffing and enrolment. |
Erik Glemser | Facility |
Ensures the safety, security and effective operation of the facility. |
Amber Van De Peer | Communications |
Develops, together with the Executive Director, a communications plan (or policy) for the Centre that outlines communications strategies and mediums for key stakeholders. Organizes and implements the plan of parent participation in various centre capabilities and attempts to match tasks with parent expertise or interest. |

Acts as a liaison between the Board of Directors, the Executive Director and Staff. |

Clerk of the Board of Directors that attends all meetings of the Board and parents. Records all facts and minutes of all proceedings in a prompt and accurate manner. |
Alex King | Fundraising |
Manages all fundraising events and is responsible for promoting, publicizing, and keeping records of events. |
Dori Cross | Executive Director |
