Silent Auction Information
Welcome to the 2011 Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph Silent Auction. All proceeds from the auction will go to The Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.The Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph Silent Auction commences at 3:00 am, Monday, May 30, 2011 and concludes at 7:59 pm, Friday, June 3, 2011. Internet biding will be available at all times.
2.All bid amounts must be in whole dollars (i.e., no cents) and must meet or exceed the set minimum bid increment posted for each auction item.
3. Internet bids will be accepted through the Auction Web Site at all times until the close of the auction at 7:59 pm, June 3, 2011. Under absolutely no circumstances will bids be accepted after the close of the auction.
4.Under no circumstances will retraction of a bid be allowed.
5.The Auction Committee will contact you by e-mail in the days following the auction if your bid is the highest bid for any item(s) (also known as the Winning Bidder or Buyer) at the end of the auction. It is for this reason we need all applicable e-mail addresses and/or phone numbers.
6.If the Winning Bidder (Buyer) cannot be contacted within two (2) days of contact first being initiated by The Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph Silent Auction, The Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph reserves the right to disqualify that Winning Bidder and deem the next highest bidder to be the Winning Bidder (Buyer).
7.Bid amounts must be paid in full to Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph within three business days after you are first contacted. Payment may be made by: Cash (exact amount required), Money Order, Cheque (made payable to CCCCG).
8.All delivery or pickup arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer and must be made with The Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph.
9. Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph is committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected from you in the course of the Auction will be used by the Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph for the purpose of administering the Auction or where required by law.
10. Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph is not responsible for any bids that are lost, misdirected, incomplete or illegible, or for failed, partial or garbled computer transactions, or for technical failures of any kind including, but not limited to, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, which may limit a bidder’s ability to participate in the Auction. Proof of sending will not be proof of receipt by The Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph. Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph is not responsible for any on-line or other charges you may incur in connection with participating in the Auction. Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph is not responsible for the availability or content of any other website to which the Website is linked.
11. You are prohibited from using any method, mechanism, device, or software to affect the proper functioning of the Auction or the Website. Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph may, in its sole discretion and without notice, terminate the right of any participant in the Auction or user of the Website to participate in the Auction or use the Website.
12. The Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without notice, to extend, terminate or modify the Auction in the event of unforeseen technical difficulties that alter the proper functioning of the Auction.
By submitting a bid you acknowledge acceptance of the terms and conditions of participation in The Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph Silent Auction.

The organizers have described the products and services offered for sale as accurately as possible, however, these descriptions are not warranties. Everything is sold “as is.” By their purchase, buyers waive any claims for liability against the organizers, The Campus Child Care Co-operative of Guelph or the donor. This includes the state of the product or service when claimed and any use made of the product or service. There may also be restrictions attached to some of the items offered for auction (i.e. expiry dates, no cash value, etc.). The terms are not negotiable.
